The major highways to Walker are State Highway 371 (north & south), or State Highway #200 (east & west).  A notable landmark once in the neighborhood is the Northern Lights Casino.  It is at the junction of highways 371 and 200 four miles SE of Walker.  About 2 miles east of the Casino, County Road 13 intersects State Highway 200.  County 13 is also named "Onigum Road".

Take County 13 north (it only goes north off of Highway 200).  Follow County 13 for about 6.5 miles to County Road 72 (also named Pine Point Road).  Turn right onto 72 (this is a hard 120 degree turn).  Within 2 miles you will see our entrance.  All roads are paved to Brindley's driveway.

A Few Policies:

We want all our guests to have a fun visit at Brindley’s but feel it inappropriate for any guest or group of guests to conduct themselves in a way that is disruptive of other guests right to enjoy the peace and tranquility of our north woods setting.  Inappropriate behavior includes door slamming, playing of loud music, or loud and boisterous voices.  Quiet time is observed between 10:30 PM and 9:00 AM.  Late night fireside gatherings likely to create loud voices and loud laughter are permitted at the "Point", well away from guest cottages.

No Pets Allowed:

The singular exception is for well trained hunting dogs during the fall hunting season.  (mid-October through mid-November). You must advise us in advance of your intention to bring your hunting dog.  Dogs must be housed outdoors and are never allowed in the cottages.  We have kennels available if needed.

Personal Water Craft:

We recognize the increasing popularity of Personal Water Craft but . . . they are noisy and can be annoying to other water craft or guests on shore.  You must call for discussion and advance authorization before bringing them.  We require that they be moored in the harbor (which requires an open slip rental), and dock usage is limited to the hours between 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM.  Traders Bay and Leech lake are large bodies of water and we expect PWC operators to distance themselves considerably from our on shore guests.

Reservations - Spring, Summer, Fall:

Minimum three night stay.

Deposits:

The minimum deposit is 2 times the "nightly cottage rate" per each week reserved.
Your deposit is applied to the last days of your reservation and you are responsible for payment of cottage rent and tax for the full length of your confirmed reservation.

Group reservations with 3 or more cottages require a deposit of 3 times the nightly rental rate and full payment for cottage rent, boat rental and applicable taxes at least 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival.

In case of cancellations, deposits will be refunded (less a $50 cancellation fee) only if we are able to re-rent the cottage for all nights of your reservation.

Deposits and reservations will be confirmed by U. S. Postal service mail.

Reservations - Winter:

Minimum two night stay.
Deposits:  Minimum deposit is $200 per reservation.
Storm cancellations - Deposits applied to rescheduled reservations in the same winter season.
